Bill of Rights - for All Stakeholders in

 Missio Christus Global

PHILANTHROPY is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To ensure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that the stakeholder and prospective stakeholder can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all Stakeholders have these rights:

  1. To be informed of MCG’s mission, of the way we intend to use the given resources, and of our capacity to use their donations effectively for their intended purposes.
  2. To be informed of the identity of those serving on MCG’s governing board, and to expect the board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.
  3. To have access to MCG’s most recent financial statements.
  4. To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
  5. To receive appropriate, timely acknowledgement and recognition as a stakeholder and will use, only by permission, a stakeholder’s name in any public document.
  6. To be assured that the information about the Stakeholder’s donations is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
  7. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing MCG’s interest to the stakeholder will be professional in nature.
  8. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the MCG’s or hired solicitors.
  9. To know that the stakeholder’s name will not be used by any other organization other than MCG.
  10. To feel free to ask questions when making any kind of gift MCG’s and or its leadership and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright answers.
  11. To rest assured that we are faithful to our Father, His Word, and our calling.
  12. In turn we are asking that each stakeholder also pray often for and represent MCG to others.
